Carry out Interproximal
Reduction effortlessly.

IPR aids in reducing the need for extractions and is less invasive. Moreover, it improves post-treatment stability and provides stable contact points by flattening contours.

Inter Proximal Reduction

STEP-1 Contact Opening

STEP-1 Contact Opening

First, open the contact point using an end- cutting serrated interproximal file (white) or strip that will open the contact.

STEP-2

STEP-2

Initiate IPR using a file of the smallest width to avoid binding. Pass the yellow file gently through the contact. Stop when there is no friction. Space will now measure..Read More

STEP-3

STEP-3

Pass the blue file (single-sided) gently through the contact. when there is no friction. Space will now measure 0.10mm.

STEP-4

STEP-4

Pass the Purple file (single-sided) gently through the contact. when there is no friction. The interproximal space is now an exact 0.50mm.

STEP-5

STEP-5

If the desired space is 0.20mm, repeat the above step using blue double-sided.

STEP-6

STEP-6

Pass the black file if still continue with the black while applying force towards the tooth surface. Measure with the guage to confirm the space created.

STEP-7

STEP-7

Use the yellow file to polish the treated surface to avoid enamel furrows, once the desired proximal space is achieved.
